What is Brow Lamination?

By now you have likely heard about brow lamination, the newest beauty trend to hit the brow world by storm. Brow lamination is a new technique that tames unruly brows. With brow lamination you’ll get perfectly sculpted brows that stay put.

Brow lamination almost works in a similar way to a lash lift. The process essentially involves straightening eyebrow hairs using a chemical solution, so that they all stand in a uniform and desired direction. Brow lamination is designed to give the illusion of fuller, more defined eyebrows.

How does it work?

Brow lamination is basically like a perm for your brows. It gives brows a set and uniform shape that is meant to last. Instead of curls, a setting lotion helps brows stay brushed up against the skin. Almost “laminated” to your skin.

The process is quite simple. It starts with the application of a lift cream, which moves hairs into a specific direction. Next, brows are brushed in the desired shape and set with special chemical solution to keep the shape in place. If desired, brows are then tinted to add fullness.

Brow lamination can last up to six weeks depending on care and your natural hair turnover. Once the brow hairs have completed their growth cycle, clients can repeat the procedure again.

Who is brow lamination for?

Anyone who is looking to enhance their natural brows is a great candidate. Brow lamination can be a great way to enhance your existing brows. That being said many clients are people with sparse brows or those who are not ready to commit to microblading. Brow lamination can also help those with thick coarse brows who want their shape to be maintained.

Brow lamination can be a great way to switch up your look. We recommend growing your brows out for about 4 weeks before you book an appointment.
